چکیده
In 2020, Yellow River runoff was more than twice as much past years, and the proportion of strong winds also higher that in which will inevitably lead to a change salinity plume distribution Estuary Laizhou Bay. Based on FVCOM numerical modelling, this paper presents spatial dispersion Bay during wet dry seasons 2020. We used data from six tidal current stations two verify model, results showed model can simulate local hydrodynamic well. The influence river discharge wind speed diffusion then investigated. simulation under action residual currents, fresh water spread Bay, low area mainly distributed northwest. envelope 27 psu isohaline account for about one-quarter season, while low-salinity only concentrated near estuary season. affects depth water, structure direction. with increase speed, surface decreased gradually, direction changed counterclockwise south north. During northwest along nearshore. early stage increased area, above 10 m/s due turbulence structure. developed study provide valuable information establishing robust resource regulations River. This is particularly important ensure areas not decrease affect reproduction fish species.

A numerical simulation of circulation in the Columbia River estuary and plume during the summer of 2004 is used to explore the mixing involved as river water is transformed into shelf water. The model is forced with realistic river flow, tides, wind stress, surface heat flux, and ocean boundary conditions. Simulated currents and water properties on the shelf near the mouth are compared with rec...
متن کاملDistribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sediments from Yellow River Estuary and Yangtze River Estuary, China.
Surface sediment samples collected from twenty-one sites of Yellow River Estuary and Yangtze River Estuary were determined for sixteen priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by isotope dilution GC-MS method. The total PAH contents varied from 10.8 to 252 ng/g in Yellow River Estuary sediment, and from 84.6 to 620 ng/g in Yangtze River Estuary sediment. The mean total PAH content of Ya...
متن کاملVariation of Runoff and Precipitation in the Hekou-Longmen Region of the Yellow River Based on Elasticity Analysis
Precipitation is very important to the formation of runoff, and studying of runoff variation and its response to precipitation has practical significance to sustainable utilization of water resources. The study used Mann-Kendall test, anomaly accumulation method, and precipitation elasticity of runoff method to analyze the changes in the relation of precipitation and runoff and the contribution...
